We orient both parents and nannies to the in-home childcare profession and act as an impartial coach through out the interviewing, hiring, and employment process.
We offer a variety of childcare solutions including full-time and part-time nannies for live-in or live-out positions. We also offer occasional sitting services for weekends, overnights, last minute events, and vacation nannies.
Wellington Nannies guarantees all placements for the length of commitment unlike many agencies that only provide families with a three month guarantee.
All nannies and baby-sitters represented by our agency must have a solid background in childcare along with excellent references from previous families. Most of our candidates have completed long-term assignments and are looking for families who recognize and appreciate their level of experience.
We value our relationships with our clients, and work hard to help our clients develop long lasting relationships with their nannies. Our staff provides continued support, placement counseling, and household mediation services to our clients through out the hiring and employment process.
All of our nannies and baby-sitters are personally interviewed and reference checked by our staff, and background checked by a licensed detective. Our agency/staff has first hand experience working with a licensed detective for over 10 years. Wellington Nannies work closely with its detectives to ensure the safety of your children.
Most nanny agencies remain uneducated about how to properly conduct a thorough background check; consequently failing to discover a criminal record. Wellington Nannies offers the most comprehensive Nanny Background Investigation available in the nanny industry today.
We check each nanny’s driving record history in each state the nanny has been licensed to drive. We criminal check for misdemeanors, felonies, federal and dismissed crimes in each area in which they have lived. Clients are then furnished with a complete background summary so that they can make an informed decision regarding who cares for their children.
Before Wellington Nannies recommends a prospective nanny, we review the completed profile of the candidate. (application, questionnaire, references, personal comments made by interviewer) This allows us to determine if the individual is responsible, highly motivated, warm, and nurturing.
We ask all of our nannies to complete an infant and child CPR and First Aid course prior to her employment. Should the nanny begin her employment before she is certified, we would appreciate the family’s support in encouraging the nanny to complete this requirement.
